All eyes will be on Augusta National this weekend, as the start of The Masters gets underway on April 9. A typically wide-open feel to the opening major of the season is expected, with Scottie Scheffler heading the betting. However, for some, their Masters journey will end before the business stage of the competition gets underway on Saturday. You can find our picks for players to miss the cut at this weekend’s Masters here.

Players to Miss The Cut at The Masters 2026

Ben Griffin

It has been a rocky start to the 2026 season for Ben Griffin, having failed to make the cut at both The Players and the Valspar Championship.

The 29-year-old did bounce back at the Texas Open last time out, but he is a standout selection at +200 to miss the cut this weekend. Griffin will be playing at Augusta for the first time this weekend, and he has failed to cash in four of his six major appearances.

Pick
Ben Griffin (+200)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

Gary Woodland

We correctly predicted Gary Woodland’s win at the Houston Open last month, but the experienced player’s fortunes could change at Augusta this weekend.

Woodland goes against many of the common trends for The Masters, including fitting the wrong age profile. It also shouldn’t be dismissed that the American has failed to make the cut in six of his last nine appearances at the major.

Pick
Gary Woodland (+145)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

Max Homa

Max Homa is one of the most talented players on the PGA Tour, but his form this year has been ice cold. He has missed the cut at both the Texas Open and Valspar Championship after finishing T32 at The Players Championship.

The 35-year-old has twice missed the cut at The Masters, and he comes into this weekend in more regressive form than he did 12 months ago when finishing T12.

Pick
Max Homa (+125)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000
