It has been a disappointing run of form for the Dallas Stars, and they will be looking to get back on track at home on Thursday against the Ottawa Senators. Meanwhile, the visitors will be looking to avoid a second straight defeat as they look to move off the bottom of the Atlantic Division.

Before Betting On Senators vs Stars

There will be an interesting game in the NHL on Thursday, as the side at the bottom of the Atlantic Division takes on one of the high-flyers in the Western Conference. However, it would be hard to argue that the Stars come into this fixture with much momentum behind them, as they have lost their previous two in the NHL.

The Stars have lost five overall games in their previous ten, but they remain second in the Central Division, and could move to the top with a victory on Thursday. However, they will need to bounce back after a humbling defeat in their previous game in the NHL. That loss came on the road against the Toronto Maple Leafs, as they were easily beaten 4-0.

The Ottawa Senators will be on the road for this fixture on Thursday, but their position in the Atlantic Division is a dire one. They currently sit bottom of the division, as they have won just ten games in 25 this term. They are also the lowest scorers in the division. Despite this, their recent form has shown some improvement, as they have landed five victories in their previous ten.

However, they will need to put the disappointment of their 5-2 home defeat against the Los Angeles Kings behind them before this fixture. The Senators started extremely slowly in that fixture, as they conceded four in the opening period. It doesn’t help their case that they have gone 4-6-1 on the road this term.

This should be a comfortable home game for the Stars on Thursday, and we fully expect them to end their two-game losing streak in the NHL. We could see them securing a big win to move to the top of the Central Division.
