Men’s Royal Rumble Picks

This year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match is one of the most unpredictable in recent memory, just as Super Bowl LX is. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are the current Heavyweight and Undisputed champions, respectively.

Roman Reigns is a fairly weak favorite, as I could foresee him not challenging for a title at Mania this year, and instead renewing his rivalry with Bron Breakker. Gunther’s new persona as a legend killer makes it challenging to fancy his chances, while Sami Zayn is likely to challenge McIntyre for the title on the Rumble card.

Therefore, at a bigger price, LA Knight could be an interesting angle. The Megastar has been off TV since being injured by Bronson Reed and Logan Paul, and he could gain revenge on The Vision by returning at the Rumble, and eliminating the former of those two stars to gain his shot at Mania, where a likely match with Punk already has plants seeded.

The Women’s Rumble is also very interesting this year, with returning legends such as AJ Lee, Paige, and Trish Stratus all likely to be involved. New stars are also likely to be involved, with Blake Monroe and Sol Ruca likely to enjoy eye-catching outings.

Bianca Belair is an obvious chance, but the former world champion has been off television due to injury since the summer. A win in this match would put her on a collision course with former tag team partner Jade Cargill at Mania.
