Ashton Jeanty – RB Las Vegas Raiders

It’s no secret that Ashton Jeanty will be the rookie with the most eyes on him. Jeanty dominated at Boise State last season, rushing for 2,601 yards and 29 TDs. Now on the Raiders, Jeanty will join TE Brock Bowers in an up-and-coming offense. Expect him to get a heavy workload as rookie and the lead ROTY candidate.

Cameron Ward – QB Tennessee Titans

QBs are always a good pick for ROTY, especially one as talented as Cam Ward. While the 1st-overall pick is not considered to be as capable as many of the previous draft’s QBs, Ward is far and away the top talent at the position this year. After turning into a flamethrower at Wazzu and Miami, Ward is a top choice for ROTY.

Omarion Hampton – RB Los Angeles Chargers

It may seem like an impossible task for Hampton to unseat Jeanty as the top rookie RB, but the system he is in is very advantageous. Head coach Jim Harbaugh loves running the football and grinding out some gritty games. Hampton is a dual talent that should make an immediate impact as the top backfield threat.

Travis Hunter – WR/CB Jacksonville Jaguars

Travis Hunter is a very intriguing pick for ROTY at 10-to-1 odds. Hunter has the “Shohei Ohtani” bonus to his chances, meaning that his dual threat ability should raise his chances of being ROTY. Even if he’s not #1 overall, landing in the top-3 among both rookie WRs and CBs could be enough to earn Hunter the award.
