Real Madrid and Valencia meet in the Spanish Super Cup semis. The game takes place in Saudi Arabia, which has become a tradition in the past few years.

Before Betting on Real Madrid vs. Valencia

Los Blancos lost to Villarreal, 2-1, this weekend, and that result presents a major blow for the reigning Spanish and European champs. Following this event, Barcelona got a two-point edge in the standings.

This was the first loss for Carlo Ancelotti and his boys following three straight wins, in which they allowed just one goal. When looking at the past 10 games Real played in all the competitions, we can see that Los Blancos’ defense didn’t perform very well in the back line, having only three clean sheets during that stretch. On the other side, they scored in each game.Β

Valencia isn’t playing as expected. Following the Word Cup, this unit posted one win and two defeats, with the triumph coming in Copa del Rey against La Nucia, 0-3, while both losses were in La Liga.

The first was against Villarreal, 2-1, and the second at home to Cadiz, 0-1. They have been struggling to gain consistency since the year began and are, overall, a great disappointment.

Real is a better team than Valencia, and even if the Bats play at a much higher level than the current one, the team from Madrid would be a favorite. That’s why we expect them to win tonight.
