Premier League Darts 2026 Picks?
There is no surprise to see Luke Littler heading the betting to win the Premier League for the second time in three years. Littler’s emergence on the global stage has seen the popularity of darts skyrocket. The teenager’s confidence should be high ahead of the first event in February, having successfully defended his World Championship title at the start of January.
Luke Humphries is the reigning champion after beating Little in the 2025 Premier League final. However, an early exit in the World Championships has done little to suggest that his run of indifferent form will end during the Premier League.
A number of other former Premier League champions will also be in action this week, but Clayton and van Gerwen will be bigger prices to repeat their memorable victories.
Beating World Championship finalists have an eye-catching record in the Premier League, with Littler and Humphries both avenging final defeats in the last two years.
Therefore, van Veen could be an interesting selection. The Dutchman didn’t reach his peak performance level at Ally Pally’s biggest event, but his performances throughout the Championships indicate that he could be set to outperform his odds in the Premier League this year.
