Nottingham Forest has another tough rival coming to City Ground. After Manchester United, they will meet Liverpool, the leaders in the English Premier League standings. All the projections suggest that we are ahead of one excellent matchup.

Before Betting on Nottingham Forest vs. Liverpool

The 0-1 loss to United on Wednesday night was a hard blow for Forest, who hoped to reach the next stage of the FA Cup. The thing that made things worse for the hosts was the fact that the losing goal came at the finish of the match, and it was controversial, which sucks. We can only wonder how Forest players felt after the event.

This was the second defeat in a row for Nottingham and the third in the past four meetings. Their defense didn’t perform well throughout these events, allowing eight goals in total throughout this stretch. Forest’s game is open and oriented towards offense, which brings plenty of excitement.

Liverpool is on fire, having five wins in a row and one trophy won during this stretch. It was the EFL Cup against Chelsea whom they beat 1-0 in the finals, following an extra-time. Their offense is steaming, scoring three or more goals in seven of the last ten appearances across all the competitions.

The Reds’ matches are efficient as well. Eight of them in the previous ten have seen over 2.5 hits and seven four or more goals. That’s something Klopp developed over the years, and the German manager sticks to his style of play no matter the circumstances. After all, it brought plenty of trophies to Anfield after years of drought.
