Utah With Mixed Success Following the All-Star

The Jazzers are 3-3 after the All-Star break, but we need to say that apart from the first match vs. Houston, all the others were on the road. Tonight’s event ends a six-game road trip this side had over the last week.

Utah’s previous contest was against the Toronto Raptors in Florida, and they managed to squeeze out a victory, 115-112. Even though the Raptors came back in the final few minutes, even taking the lead, the Jazz rebuffed their surge to win this one and to secure their 30th triumph of the year.

Donovan Mitchell had 31 points with 6 assists and five boards, but he shot 0-for-9 for three. The one thing he was doing well were the free throws, missing just one in 16 tries. Rudy Gobert had 15 points and 16 rebounds, while Joe Ingles played instrumental off the bench with 19 points and five three-pointers.

Bulls Want Two in a Row

Chicago played in Detroit last night, and they defeated the pale Pistons with 100-86, which was their 19th win of the campaign. Previously they had an exhausting matchup with the Nuggets in Denver, losing the same after OT 131-127 even though they had a pretty solid lead throughout the matchup.

The game against the Pistons saw the Bulls’ confident performance on both ends of the floor. At first, they would limit the Pistons to just 86 points, 39% of shooting, and believe it or not four three-pointers throughout the entire event. On the other side, Chicago was 14-for-28.

LaVine scored a team-high 18 points, Lauri Markkanen had 16 and 8 boards, while Patrick Williams had 10, and those were the only players with double-digit scoring among the Bulls. However, all those who played managed to deliver some buckets, and all of them played at least 14 minutes.

Jazz vs Bulls Prediction and Pick

The Jazz will win this event, and there are two reasons why. The first is a much more versatile offense, with several players able to deliver 20+ points. The second is the Bulls’ tough schedule and back-to-back nights with the note that they previously traveled a lot. So, they are bound to feel some fatigue in this event.
