Some of the NFL teams didn’t manage to put up a decent offense this summer, so many believe they won’t deliver too many points per game. We’ve seen that in certain cases (like with the Broncos last season), that erases the effects of an excellent defense.

Here are BetOnline.ag odds for the teams projected to have the worst offenses in the upcoming campaign.

Before Betting on the Fewest Points Scored in the 2023 NFL Season

The Broncos scored 287 points in the previous season, often losing games in which they allowed 12 or fewer points. That’s terrible data, considering that they have the former NFL MVP in the quarterback position, Russell Wilson. The Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans were right behind with 289 points, and the Jets had 296.

The Arizona Cardinals are at the top of the list. Kyler Murray’s ACL injury and the fact that the Cards are slowly entering a rebuild, plus a possibility of tanking season, all indicate a negative campaign with plenty of losses. Murray won’t be forced to speed up the recovery; furthermore, we expect him to miss the entire year.

Houston Texans are the second favorite for this negative title. The team from NRG Stadium has a solid defense and a couple of pretty promising guys on that team. But the offense is limited and without star power. Robert Woods is the most notable name, and that, you have to admit, isn’t that impressive.

The next on the list are the Buccaneers, who now don’t have Tom Brady. Baker Mayfield is in the house, and he could click in well with Godwin and Evans, but on the other side, he could turn out to be a total bust, and the odds are 50-50 for each. The Washington Commanders and the Indianapolis Colts have the same odds; behind are the Rams and the Titans.
