Miami Tries To Silence Some Haters
The Miami Dolphins won their season opener 20-7 against the Patriots, but yet still some experts are calling for the shift from Tua Tagovailoa to Teddy Bridgewater at QB. That seems absurd after Tagovailoa was 23/33 for 270 yards and a TD last week vs. Bill Belichick’s defense but it appears the Dolphins might just be a team that has a chip on their shoulder all season.
The Baltimore Ravens took advantage of some nice scheduling in beating the Jets 24-9 in week one. The victory kept the media off of Lamar Jackson for a week even though his 17/30 for 213 yards with 3 TDs and an INT drew mixed results.
The Dolphins defense absolutely shut down the New England running game last week (22 carries – 78 yards) but Jackson and the Ravens obviously have more dual threats in the ground game. Miami got the win in coach Mike McDaniel’s debut, but his offense looked very one-dimensional as the rushing attack produced just 65 yards on 23 carries.
