One flashy contest awaits us in the state of Florida, where Jacksonville Jaguars host the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Before Betting on Cheifs vs. Jaguars

The loss against the Detroit Lions highlighted was a nasty slap in the face for the champions. Many say that the reasons for that were the absences of Travis Kelce and Chris Jones. Though, now the Chiefs won’t have such an alibi, with Jones resolving his contract dispute and rejoining the team and Kelce healing his injury.

Mahomes will have a much wider field with Kelce in it. One of the best tight ends of all time is by far his favorite target, and we don’t need to say what’s his impact on the Chiefs’ game.

Jacksonville enters this matchup with the momentum of a victory against their divisional rivals, the Indianapolis Colts, 31-21. This triumph showcased Calvin Ridley’s talent, and even though the former Falcons WR didn’t play for a long time, he would immediately explode with 101 receiving yards for one score. Trevor Lawrence got himself a new weapon, and the former No.1 pick instantly started using it.

His teammate from college, RB Travis Etienne Jr., also had a nice game, with 77 rushing yards with one TD. His performances will be of massive importance for the Jags, especially against the Chiefs, who have a very good running defense.

Even though Chris Jones comes back, we don’t think that would limit the Jaguars’ offense, particularly at home. These two units know one another very well, as they met in the Divisional Round last year. The line for the totals is at 51, and we would go with over here because of Kelce’s comeback and Ridley’s presence on the other side.
