One of the games on Sunday’s NFL slate features the Cleveland Browns hosting the Minnesota Vikings. Who has the advantage in our Browns vs Vikings pick?

Browns Hope To Shake Off Disappointing Showing Against Detroit

After knocking off the Packers by a 13-10 margin in Week 3, Cleveland suffered a 34-10 loss against the Detroit Lions in Week 4.

The Browns jumped out to a 7-0 lead. But Detroit responded with 20 unanswered points to take a 20-7 lead at halftime and never looked back.

Cleveland struggled in this matchup, to put it nicely. They produced just 249 yards of offense. They were 3-for-14 on third down and averaged a paltry 3.8 yards per play.

Minnesota Looks To Bounce Back From Loss To Steelers

The Vikings followed up a dominant 48-10 win over Cincinnati with a 24-21 loss to the Steelers.

The game appeared to be over as Minnesota trailed 24-6 in the fourth quarter. However, backup quarterback Carson Wentz threw two touchdowns in the final frame, trimming the deficit to 24-21.

Unfortunately, the comeback bid came up short as Wentz threw an incomplete pass on fourth-and-17 from the Vikings’ 32. Pittsburgh ran out the clock on the ensuing possession and held on for a three-point victory.

Browns vs Vikings NFL Pick

In a battle between a pair of teams coming off losses, Minnesota enters this contest as a 3.5-point favorite. Here’s a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this Week 5 matchup.

  • The Browns are 1-9 straight-up (SU) in their last 10 games.
  • Cleveland is 2-8 ATS in its previous 10 contests.
  • The Vikings are 11-4 in their last 15 outings.
  • Minnesota is 12-6 ATS in its previous 18 Week 5 matchups.

It is no secret that the Browns’ offense has struggled this season, averaging just 14 points per game. With that in mind, the edge goes to the Vikings.
