The second edition of the Bank of Utah Championship will be staged on the PGA Tour this weekend. A talented field will be involved at the Black Desert Resort, as the players will compete across 7,421 yards to win their share of the $6 million purse.

A number of players bring strong recent form to the table this weekend, including Michael Thorbjornsen. The American was third in the Baycurrent Classic last time out, and his recent form has seen him finish in the top four on four occasions in the last six months.

Matt McCarty is the defending champion, and positives will be taken from his recent outings. Among those include a solid effort in last weekend’s Baycurrent Classic when claiming a share of 14^th.

Rico Hoey could be a potential winner in waiting on the PGA Tour. The Filipino player has finished in the top four on ten occasions this season, and he has previous form in the book at Black Desert after finishing T21 in 2024.
