Why LowVig?
LowVig markets themselves as the best offshore sportsbook for high rollers and professional gamblers. They’ve openly declared that they don’t offer bonuses and promos to players and they don’t run expensive marketing campaigns, meaning they can use those savings to offer players better odds and higher betting limits. They have high payout limits and reduced juice on their odds, meaning you’ll find the best value here if you’re prepared to forego the bells and whistles of other gambling sites.
Is LowVig Legit?
Yes LowVig is legit and legal in 49/50 US states, with only New Jersey residents restricted from play in the United States. They are also a sister site of the most reputable offshore sportsbook, BetOnline, allowing them to benefit from the brand recognition and trust associated with them. On top of this they also have a gaming license and they’re regulated in Panama, giving players further piece of mind.

LowVig Sportsbook Review
As previously mentioned, LowVig is run as a sister site of BetOnline and as a result, you get a very similar user experience with essentially the same sportsbook site. There are subtle changes like the color scheme and the promo and bonus sections have been stripped out, so this has been built for the betting purists.
It’s easy to see why this is the premier sportsbook of choice for professional gamblers and high rollers, with the site completely built around the odds and betting tools like the parlay builder or odds boosts. Unfortunately, Lowvig’s claim about better odds and higher limits didn’t stand up against BetOnline where we found the difference to be nonexistent, while the comparison to other offshore sportsbooks wasn’t overwhelming either.
We looked at some of the biggest sportsbooks for moneyline odds on a big event, and LowVig’s max wager limit was dwarfed by others, while their odds were only joint best:

While that does seem to undermine the unique selling point of LowVig when it comes to their sportsbook, they do still have huge limits when it comes to their deposit and payout methods meaning that although a site like XBet had a much bigger wager limit in this instance, they only allow you to withdraw $5K per week via cryptocurrency whereas LowVig has an upper limit of $100K, so they are impressive when you start to look under the hood.
