The 2026 World Cup is just under a year away, and all of the leading nations look set to be involved. Spain are the current +400 favorites, while England (+650), France (+700), and Brazil (+750) round off the top three in the ante-post betting.
However, Portugal could be a betting angle at +1400. Led by Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese look solid at both ends of the field, with few nations boasting better options in the middle of the field.
They could be a major contenders in the Americas next summer. Although Roberto Martinez as the coach could be a minor issue, as he failed to get a talented Belgium team over the line throughout their Golden Generation.
