The 2024-25 Premier League season has only just ended. But has anyone got any hot takes for 2025-26? For me, I could see Mikel Arteta not seeing out the season.

That’s a bold one on Arteta — especially after how competitive Arsenal have been lately. But I get it, expectations are sky-high now, and if they start slow or fall behind in the title race early, pressure will mount fast. For my hot take: I think one of the traditional “Big Six” finishes outside the top eight. There’s too much quality creeping up from teams like Aston Villa, Newcastle, and even Brighton if they reload well. The gap’s closing, and someone’s bound to slip.
