Kentucky Derby winner Sovereignty has opted to bypass the Preakness Stakes. Should there be a bigger gap between Triple Crown races to entice trainers to run their best horses?

It's hard to imagine them giving up the tradition of the current dates, but it would make a lot of sense to space the triple crown races out more so the horses have more time to recover. Preakness and Belmont Stakes are always the most interesting when there's a Triple Crown on the line.
