The 2024 UFL season featured several standout performers who have made strong cases for a jump to the NFL. Running back Jacob Saylors led the league in rushing and has already signed with the New York Giants after racking up 460 yards and eight touchdowns. Kicker Jake Bates turned heads with a 64-yard field goal and a 77% conversion rate, earning a contract with the Detroit Lions. Wide receiver Daewood Davis impressed with 446 yards and five touchdowns and is now with the Carolina Panthers. Hakeem Butler led the UFL with 652 receiving yards and remains a top NFL candidate due to his size and red-zone ability. Chris Rowland's explosiveness on special teams, including a kick return touchdown, makes him valuable under the NFL’s new kickoff rules. Defensive standouts like Breeland Speaks (9.5 sacks), Willie Harvey Jr. (76 tackles), and Carlos Davis (seven sacks) showcased NFL-ready pass-rushing and tackling ability. Add in consistent kickers like Andre Szmyt and polished receivers like Jontre Kirklin, and it’s clear the UFL is becoming a legitimate pipeline for NFL talent. These players have proven they deserve another shot at the highest level of pro football.
