The WNBA is adding three new teams over the next couple of seasons. This year, the Golden State Valkyries start play. They'll be joined by the Toronto Tempo and a still unnamed Portland franchise in 2026. With the new CBA, it'll be interesting to see how the 2026 expansion draft works. Do you see these teams having immediate success or building up slowly; and any predictions for the Portland team name?

I think it will be a slow-moving process in terms of these teams becoming perennial playoff contenders.

@jdtillman True, though the sheer quantity of upcoming free agents could shorten their build-up eras.
