I’ve figured out the WNBA’s strategy. They’re gonna have Angel and Caitlin hate each other until they do an event or commercial together, realize they have more in common than they thought, and become besties like Magic and Bird.

I agree with Vandersloot when she mentioned that any rivalry between the two players and teams should just be about the game itself.

It was fun watching them as teammates in the All-Star game last year. The rivalry is definitely good for the sport but the narrative behind it gets a little nasty at times which is unfortunate.

I think they might hate each other because everyone around them says they're supposed to hate each other.
