The 2024-25 NFL season is rapidly approaching with the preseason underway. This offseason was significant, with many top players finding new homes. Those moves altered the overall Super Bowl odds quite a bit. Ahead of opening day, let’s rank all 32 NFL teams, break down notable changes, and project their odds to win the title.

NFL Power Rankings & Super Bowl Odds

#1 – Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are the defending back-to-back Super Bowl champions, an accomplishment that was last achieved in 2003-04 by the Patriots. Many have drawn parallels to the start of Tom Brady’s career with Patrick Mahomes, who has already won three Super Bowls at 28 years old. Last season, Kansas City boasted their best defense in the Mahomes era. Maintaining that will be key to their hopes of being the first team to win three straight titles.

#2 – San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco enters the season knotted with the Chiefs at the top of the Super Bowl odds. After losing to Kansas City in February’s Super Bowl, the 49ers are aiming to make a triumphant return this season. Most of their key offensive players returned this season, but the defense saw a handful of assets depart this offseason. Replacing their defensive losses will be important for the 49ers as a team that relies on their defense often.

Pick
49ers to win SB (+600)

50% up to $1000

#3 – Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens came up short in the AFC Championship against the Chiefs last season. Their Super Bowl drought increased to 12 years, despite Baltimore seemingly being always in contention. The defense is still a strong suit, but the offense had struggled to provide weapons for Lamar Jackson in the past. Last year was a trend in the right direction. WR Zay Flowers is poised for a 2nd-year breakout and RB Derrick Henry is a key addition.

Pick
Ravens to win SB (+1000)

50% up to $1000

#4 – Buffalo Bills

Speaking of Super Bowl droughts, the Bills have now gone 30 years without a title game appearance. The Josh Allen era snapped their playoff drought and brought some unprecedented success, but it hasn’t been enough to make it to the biggest stage. This offseason, Allen lost WR Stefon Diggs to free agency. His numbers prior to Diggs’ arrival in Buffalo may raise some alarms. This season will be a crucial test for Buffalo’s future outlook.

Pick
Bills to win SB (+1500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#5 – Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals are aiming to return to the Super Bowl this season, after struggling with injuries over the past two years. They’ll need to replace the production of RB Joe Mixon, who departed in the offseason. Cincinnati’s passing attack, led by Joe Burrow, remains their greatest asset. The Bengals ranked in the bottom-5 of the AFC defensively last season, marking a need for improvement on that front to have a chance at making a deep run.

Pick
Bengals to win SB (+1500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#6 – Detroit Lions

Detroit is finally competitive after what feels like an endless run of ineptitude. The culture that head coach Dan Campbell helped instill paid off in spades in his 3rd season of leading the team. Although the Lions were unable to reach their first Super Bowl last season, they made the NFC championship for the first time since 1992. As an up-and-coming talented young team, the Lions are a reasonable pick to win the NFC this season.

Pick
Lions to win SB (+1200)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#7 – Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are another team that has struggled to crack the top of the rankings despite consistently competing with the top. After falling short in Super Bowl 57, the Eagles were eliminated two games earlier this year. They remain near the top of the NFC in terms of title odds, but are no longer the conference favorites like they were at this time last year. RB Saquon Barkley should be an explosive addition to an already sensational offense.

Pick
Chiefs to win SB (+1300)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#8 – Houston Texans

Houston has made the most dramatic climb up the rankings as of late. After finishing as one of the worst teams in the NFL in 2021 and 2022, the Texans went all in on selecting QB C.J. Stroud and DL Will Anderson in the 2023 NFL Draft. Both were sensational in their rookie season, winning the offensive and defensive rookie of the year awards. This offseason they acquired RB Joe Mixon and WR Stefon Diggs, adding even more talent.

Pick
Chiefs to win SB (+1500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#9 – Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys continue to remain in contention, but have fallen from the top tier of NFC teams. They are at risk of their NFC Championship game drought rising to 30 years if they don’t snap the streak this season. Dallas had a relatively quiet offseason, which is a bit concerning with some key offensive players aging out of their prime. Their top player in his prime right now, CeeDee Lamb, is holding out as he awaits a contract extension.

Pick
Cowboys to win SB (+1800)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#10 – Miami Dolphins

Miami’s last playoff victory was all the way back in the year 2000. That seems improbable given their recent success, but the Dolphins have been unable to earn a single playoff win in that span. Last season, they drew a tough first matchup against the eventual Super Bowl champions, but posted an uninspiring 26-7 result. Miami had an active offseason and continues to have one of the deepest rosters in the league. They remain a sleeper.

Pick
Dolphins to win SB (+2400)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#11 – Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are hoping new head coach Jim Harbaugh can steer them in the right direction this season. Unfortunately, long time assets Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler departed this offseason, after having their primes wasted by Brandon Staley’s incompetence. Harbaugh will bring a new brand of football to Los Angeles, focused around a strong run game and defense. It will be interesting to see how that affects Justin Herbert.

Pick
Chargers to win SB (+4000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#12 – Cleveland Browns

Cleveland bounced back in the first season with Deshaun Watson not being suspended. Unfortunately, Watson continued to struggle with injuries and played at a mediocre level when he was available. The Browns were much more competitive on defense, due in no small part to Myles Garrett. With 81.5 sacks over the last six seasons, Garrett has helped raise the Browns floor and ceiling. They need strong QB play to make a deeper run.

Pick
Browns to win SB (+3500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#13 – Los Angeles Rams

The Rams bounced back last season, returning to the playoffs after going 5-12 in 2022. They lost in the first round, but have won 10+ games in five of the last seven seasons and won the Super Bowl in 2021. Despite a significant chunk of roster turnover over the past couple of years, the Rams are expected to make the postseason once again. The health of WRs Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua will be key to their playoff chances.

Pick
Rams to win SB (+3000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#14 – Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has not had as much success as they hoped in Trevor Lawrence’s first three seasons. Once described as a generational prospect, Lawrence has been solid but not exceptional. The Jaguars were 9-8 in each of the past two seasons, and are still fighting to break free from mediocrity. Unfortunately, the division is much more competitive now than it was in Lawrence’s rookie year. Jacksonville needs major improvements.

Pick
Jaguars to win SB (+4500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#15 – Green Bay Packers

The Packers are a popular sleeper candidate to win the NFC this season. As a franchise that is seemingly well-run and always in contention, Green Bay took a massive leap in their rebuild last season thanks to QB Jordan Love. Free from a deteriorating Aaron Rodgers, Love finally got his chance and made the most of it. He finished with a 96.1 passer rating and 32/11 TD/INT ratio. That being said, the Packers still have many big holes to fill.

Pick
Packers to win SB (+1800)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#16 – Seattle Seahawks

Seattle has been much more competitive than people expected in their post-Russell Wilson era, finishing above .500 in 2022 and 2023. The downside to that success is that they didn’t win any postseason games, despite those 9-8 records. At the same time they squandered the chance to pick one of the top QBs in the draft. The Seahawks project to be middle of the pack again, but may opt to tank for Carson Beck if they have a slow start.

Pick
Seahawks to win SB (+5500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#17 – Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings got devastating news in preseason after rookie QB J.J. McCarthy suffered a knee injury. Later confirmed as a torn right meniscus, McCarthy will undergo surgery and miss the entire 2024-25 season. After Kirk Cousins departed in the offseason, Minnesota is now stuck with Sam Darnold and Matt Corral at the QB position. For now, we’ll hold the Vikings at #17, but this news is likely to drop them to #25 or even further down.

Pick
Vikings to win SB (+8000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#18 – Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers made some intriguing moves in the offseason. They moved on from QB Kenny Pickett, who they drafted in the first round in 2022, despite his 3rd-4th round projection. Pittsburgh is aiming to make up for that blunder by squeezing some production out of QBs Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who were both brought in to give them a better chance at consistent QB play. Their defense, led by T.J. Watt, remains their strong suit.

Pick
Steelers to win SB (+5000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#19 – Indianapolis Colts

It’s easy to forget the excitement the Colts had for QB Anthony Richardson before his season-ending injury last year, but he’s expected to make quite the splash when he returns. Richardson was considered one of the most athletic and explosive QBs in a class that also had C.J. Stroud in it. If he plays well, the Colts offense with Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman Jr. will be dangerous. Indianapolis could be a sleeper candidate in 2024.

Pick
Colts to win SB (+5500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#20 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers have remained competitive since winning the Super Bowl in 2020. They’ve posted a 30-21 record in the three years since, but haven’t had the same level of postseason success. Tampa Bay’s defense has been its cornerstone for success, but they’ve lost key players in each season since their title. At the same time, the offense retained Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, a surprising move that will keep them competitive.

Pick
Buccaneers to win SB (+6500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#21 – New York Giants

The Giants are one of the toughest teams to pin down. A disastrous injury-plagued 2023 campaign would rank them near the bottom, but the current roster and coaching staff is not all that different from the 2022 team that made the NFC Divisional Round. Ultimately, it will come down to whether or not QB Daniel Jones can return to that 2022 form. New York’s extremely long odds to win it all offer some decent upside, as well as a lot of risk.

Pick
Giants to win SB (+15000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#22 – Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta has risen quite a bit in the overall Super Bowl odds. They drafted what they hope to be an NFL-ready QB in 24-year-old Michael Penix Jr., as well as brought in veteran Kirk Cousins as a contingency plan. That should give the Falcons improved QB play, but there are many other concerns to work on as well. Poor coaching has prevented Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson from being properly utilized. They need to address that this season.

Pick
Falcons to win SB (+2800)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#23 – Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are hoping that the selection of Marvin Harrison Jr. in the 2024 NFL Draft will help Kyler Murray return to form. Arizona was 11-6 with Murray in 2021, but dealt with injuries that led to 4-13 finishes in 2022 and 2023. It will be a difficult climb for the Cardinals to emerge near the top of a stacked NFC West division. Their offense will need to be firing on all cylinders to assist a defense that has been among the NFL’s worst.

Pick
Cardinals to win SB (+8000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#24 – New Orleans Saints

New Orleans is in a similar position to the past couple of seasons. In the post-Drew Brees era, the Saints haven’t been bad by any means, but have also struggled to rise above mediocrity. After going 49-15 (.766) in the final four seasons with Brees, the Saints have posted a 25-26 (.490) record since his retirement. Derek Carr helped improve the offense last season, but they’ve largely benefitted from competing in the worst division.

Pick
Saints to win SB (+10000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#25 – Las Vegas Raiders

Speaking of Derek Carr, the Raiders moved on from their long-term QB last year. An 8-9 season was the result, a two-game improvement on the previous year. Las Vegas is making another change in 2024, naming Gardner Minshew as the starting QB over Aiden McConnell. Minshew is an underrated passer that has competed well in several poor situations. The Raiders have a lot to improve upon, but Minshew should keep them competitive.

Pick
Raiders to win SB (+10000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#26 – Chicago Bears

The Bears finally called it quits on the Justin Fields experiment, moving on from one of the worst picks in recent years. Despite that draft blunder, Chicago made up for it quickly in subsequent years, acquiring a pick from the Panthers that would eventually earn them the #1 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft. With Caleb Williams now on the roster, it won’t be long before the Bears are back in contention in the NFC North division.

Pick
Bears to win SB (+3500)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#27 – New York Jets

The Jets are a polarizing team. I wasn’t sold on them at all last offseason, despite the hype surrounding Aaron Rodgers, and have only grown more unimpressed. New York would have done right to build around a stellar 2022 draft class that featured Sauce Gardner, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson. Instead, the Jets hastily shifted to win-now mode, bringing in a locker room distraction in the process. Expect another 7-10 or worse finish.

Pick
Jets to win SB (+1800)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#28 – Washington Commanders

Washington is thrilled with what they’ve seen from Jayden Daniels since drafting him. His dynamic dual-threat ability should make the Commanders instantly more competitive. While Daniels should be ready to make a splash and become a notable upgrade at QB, the rest of Washington’s roster is filled with holes. Their defense, which had kept them afloat, now ranks among the league’s worst. Daniels will have his work cut out for him.

Pick
Commanders to win SB (+12000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#29 – New England Patriots

Like Chicago and Washington, the Patriots start low in the rankings with cautious optimism that they should rise under their new rookie QB. That being said, Drake Maye is the least NFL-ready of the five QBs selected in the top-10. New England has Bill Belichick’s system to try to turn him into the next Tom Brady, but it will take some time before he gets there. A perennially solid defense under Belichick will help raise the Patriots floor.

Pick
Patriots to win SB (+25000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#30 – Tennessee Titans

Workhorse RB Derrick Henry is no longer in Tennessee, which is very notable. Even as Henry’s production declined in his late-20s, he was a staple in their offense. With one of the league’s worst defenses and a pair of young QBs they reached for in the draft, Tennessee is set up to be one of the worst teams in the league this season. They’ll be focusing on rebuilding and giving Levis and Willis a chance to show what they’re capable of.

Pick
Titans to win SB (+15000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#31 – Denver Broncos

Denver’s “let’s ride” era officially ended this offseason, marking it as the worst act of NFL management in the past decade. The Broncos saw Russell Wilson declining towards the end of his Seahawks tenure, but still decided to trade six draft picks (two 1st-rounders) and three players for him. They then signed Wilson to a $242 million deal than they will still be paying out in 2027. Rookie QB Bo Nix has a lot of work to do to save this team.

Pick
Broncos to win SB (+25000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000

#32 – Carolina Panthers

The Panthers rank at the bottom of the NFL for the third straight season. Fans in Carolina need to hope that Bryce Young takes a major step forward in year two. While Young’s numbers weren’t all that bad for a rookie, his performance paled in comparison to 2nd-overall pick C.J. Stroud. Not only did the Panthers select Young over Stroud, but they sacrificed what ultimately became the Caleb Williams pick to move up and take him.

Pick
Panthers to win SB (+30000)
New Player Bonus
50% up to $1000
