The Rockets are riding an eight-game win streak. This impressive stretch includes a 113-102 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Houston dominated through the first three quarters, leading by 23 points. The Sixers got within five late in the fourth before Kevin Durant knocked down a crucial 3-pointer to push the lead back to eight with a minute left in regulation.
Durant guided the offense with a 29-point, seven-rebound, five-assist effort on 10-of-18 shooting. Jabari Smith Jr. and Amen Thompson added 19 points each.
After posting wins against Boston and Houston in late March, the Timberwolves are just 2-5 across their last seven games, including a 132-120 loss to the Orlando Magic.
Minnesota trailed by 10 at intermission. And a 22-6 burst by the Magic broke the game open in the third, as Orlando extended its lead to 24 points.
Despite Anthony Edwards and four other starters missing from the rotation, the Timberwolves shot 50 percent overall and 41 percent from beyond the arc. Terrence Shannon Jr. was one of four players in double figures, finishing with 33 points and five assists. Jaden McDaniels contributed 18 points, connecting on eight of his 16 shot attempts.
