Stars Still Chasing Top Spot
Glen Gulutzan's Dallas Stars have already secured their spot in the playoffs, having gone 44-18-12 in the NHL this season. Their consistent record at the American Airlines Center has also seen them go 22-10-4 at home this term. Their recent form would be a slight worry, as the Stars have won just three of their last ten.
But, they did get back on track in their latest outing after beating the Winnipeg Jets 3-0 in Dallas on Thursday. Adam Erne, Arttu Hyry, and Matt Duchene scored the goals.

Avalanche Hoping to Maintain Advantage at Summit
Jared Bednar's Colorado Avalanche will have their sights set on top spot in the Central Division, as they aim to secure an easier passage through the playoffs. Colorado have been the most consistent team in the Western Conference throughout the season, going 49-15-10.
Their record over their last ten has signaled their return to form, winning five of their previous ten. However, they will need to bounce back from a recent loss, where they looked defensively vulnerable in an 8-6 loss against the Vancouver Canucks.
