Can the Hornets get a rare win against the Suns?

Charlotte recently snapped a two-game skid with a dominant 117-86 victory against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

On the heels of two straight home losses, the Hornets raced out to a 35-18 lead after the first quarter. Although Brooklyn got within eight points, Charlotte outscored its opponent 70-47 the rest of the way.

Brandon Miller was one of six players in double figures for the Hornets. He poured in 25 points on 7-for-13 shooting overall and 4-for-8 from downtown. Miles Bridges scored 19 points and collected five rebounds.

Phoenix seeks its third win in four games

On the other side, the Suns' two-game win streak was snapped with a 115-111 setback against the Orlando Magic.

Phoenix trailed by 14 points at the break, but rallied to tie the game at 94 heading into the fourth quarter. Dillon Brooks' long jumper gave the road team a 107-105 lead. Unfortunately, the Magic closed the game on a 10-4 run to clinch their 40th win of the season.

Devin Booker paced the offense with 34 points and seven assists. He also shot 16-of-19 from the charity stripe. Royce O'Neale was the bench unit's top performer, finishing with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.
