The MLS returns following the international break on April 4 with a fascinating clash between D.C. United and FC Dallas.
Both teams come into this round after avoiding defeat in their latest outing, with the visitors chasing a second straight win following a high-scoring win over the Houston Dynamo.

It has been an encouraging start to the season for D.C. United, as they sit sixth in the Eastern Conference standings after winning two of their opening five fixtures. However, their offensive players didn’t click in their most recent outing, as United recorded just a single shot on target in a 0-0 draw against Atlanta United.
The Eagles should relish being back in front of their own fans this weekend, as they have shown excellent attacking quality at Audi Field. So far this season, United have averaged an xG of 1.18 in their home fixtures, averaging 1.00 goals per game.

FC Dallas will be on the road this weekend when they return to action following the international break. They have started the season in reliable fashion, avoiding defeat in four of their five fixtures to sit eighth in the Western Conference.
Plenty of positives would have been taken from their recent win against the Houston Dynamo, with Logan Farrington scoring twice in the win. However, Dallas underperformed in their only away match so far this season, conceding an xGA of 1.20 in a loss against LAFC.

This is a hard fixture to call in the MLS this weekend. However, Dallas’ strong start to the season could make them the value angle, while the visitors have also won their last two head-to-head clashes with United.
