The woeful Jazz were up 105-103 in the fourth quarter. But Cleveland took control down the stretch, courtesy of a 14-1 burst, flipping a two-point deficit into an 11-point advantage (117-106) with 3:14 left to play.
Cody Williams led the way with 26 points, along with six rebounds and four assists. Kyle Filipowski finished with 20 points, 10 boards, and five dimes.
Denver is aiming for its seventh straight win
Following a seven-point loss to Memphis, the Nuggets have reeled off six consecutive wins. Their latest triumph was a 116-93 victory against the Golden State Warriors.
Denver trailed by seven points at intermission before turning things around. After the break, the Nuggets outscored their opponent 70-30, including a game-changing 40-21 edge in the third quarter.
Nikola Jokic was just two assists shy of his fifth straight triple-double, pacing the offense with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists. Jamal Murray contributed 20 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.
