Marko Mitrovic’s New England will be aiming to bounce back to form following a defeat in St. Louis before the international break. However, the confidence within the team should still be high after beating Cincinnati 6-1 in their latest home fixture.
Being back at Gillette Stadium will suit their chances, with all three of their losses this term being suffered on the road. Attacking players have preferred playing at home based on the stats, registering an average xG of 2.01 in New England compared to a lower metric of 0.78 in away fixtures.

The Montreal Impact sit a place lower than the Revolution in the current Eastern Conference standings after losing four of their opening five fixtures in 2026. Marco Donadel’s team have suffered defeats in their previous two fixtures, which includes a 2-1 loss against Orlando City before the international break.
The Impact have struggled defensively in the opening months of the season, conceding 2.8 goals per game from an xGA of 1.43. Chance creation has also been limited, scoring 1.4 goals from an average xG of 1.02.
