Houston has won its last two games, including a 134-102 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday night.

The teams battled to a 29-29 stalemate through the first 12 minutes. However, the Rockets put the game out of reach with a 23-3 run in the second quarter, taking a 68-47 lead at the break. Houston led by double digits the rest of the way en route to its 45th win of the season.
Alperen Sengun scored a team-high 36 points, pulled down 13 boards, and handed out seven assists. Kevin Durant and Jabari Smith Jr. finished with 20 points and four rebounds apiece.
The Knicks have dropped their last two games following a seven-game win streak. Their last outing was a 111-100 setback against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
New York trailed by six points entering the fourth quarter. And although the Knicks cut the deficit to one, they never led in the final frame.
All five starters reached double figures. Jalen Brunson led the way with 32 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Karl-Anthony Towns produced a 15-point, 18-rebound effort, while Josh Hart and Mikal Bridges also contributed 15 points each.
