The Nets look to build on their blowout win against Sacramento
Brooklyn had lost 10 straight heading into Sunday's action. Fortunately, it ended the streak by defeating the Sacramento Kings 116-99.

The Nets led by 23 points at the break before Sacramento rallied to get within 92-83 early in the fourth quarter. But Brooklyn did not allow its opponent to get any closer down the stretch.
Ochai Agbaji paced the offense with 18 points, converting six of his 11 shot attempts. Nolan Traore added 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds.
Charlotte aims to avoid a third straight defeat
On the other side, the Hornets have dropped their last two games following a five-game win streak. Their latest setback was a 114-99 loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday.
Charlotte trailed by 63-49 at halftime, before rallying to trim the deficit to nine early in the final frame. But the Celtics pushed the lead back to 17 with 3:52 remaining, prompting Hornets head coach Charles Lee to empty the bench.
LaMelo Ball was one of seven players in double figures for Charlotte. He finished with 19 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Miles Bridges contributed 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field.
