Avalanche Chasing Return to Form
The Colorado Avalanche have already achieved their first target for the season after booking their spot in the post-season. However, they will need to rediscover their consistency before the playoffs get underway after losing four of their last ten in regulation.
Their most recent defeat was suffered at Ball Arena on Saturday, as they were edged out by the Winnipeg Jets. Brock Nelson and Parker Kelly scored the goals in the defeat for the Avalanche. But, Colorado still boast a dominant 23-7-5 record at Ball Arena in 2025-26.
Flames in Red-Hot Recent Form
The Calgary Flames are playing for nothing more than pride at this stage of the season, as they face an almighty task if they are to fight into a playoff spot. Calgary have certainly excelled in recent weeks, winning six of their last ten, suffering just three regulation time losses in that period.
Offensively, the Flames produced a stunning display in their latest outing, recording a 7-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Matt Coronato scored once in the win, while Morgan Frost and Hunter Brzustewicz both ended the night with two assists apiece.
