Los Angeles has won its last two games following a narrow loss to the Detroit Pistons. The team's last outing was a 116-99 victory against the Brooklyn Nets.

The Lakers could not shake Washington early and led by just one point through three quarters. However, Los Angeles clamped down in the final frame, outscoring the Nets by a 31-15 margin.
Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves shouldered most of the scoring load. Donic poured in a game-high 41 points, along with eight rebounds and three assists. Reaves finished with 26 points, eight boards, and five dimes.
On the other side, the Wizards enter this tilt amid a two-game losing streak. Their latest setback includes a 123-88 loss to the Blazers on Sunday night.
Washington remained in striking distance in the first half, trailing by 11 points at the break. Unfortunately, the second half was a different story, as the Blazers outscored the road team 65-41, including a 33-19 advantage in the third quarter.
Will Riley, who comes off the bench, led the way with 14 points in 26 minutes of action. Bob Carrington scored 11 points and handed out four assists.
