The Pistons led by 16 points early in the third before Los Angeles rallied to take a 108-107 advantage with 39.9 seconds to play. After the teams exchanged baskets, Daniss Jenkins scored for Detroit and then made two free throws to put the home team up by three. Luka Doncic's contested 3-point attempt at the buzzer was off the mark, securing the win for the Pistons.

Jenkins scored a team-high 30 points, along with eight assists and four rebounds. Jalen Duren posted a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds. He shot 5-for-9 from the floor and converted all 10 of his attempts from the charity stripe.

Atlanta looks to extend its win streak to three games

After a 117-95 setback against Houston, the Hawks have won their last two games. Their latest triumph was a 146-107 victory against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

Atlanta outscored the Grizzlies by 41 points through the first three quarters. The Hawks maintained their 40-point advantage for most of the fourth quarter en route to an easy 39-point win.

Eight players tallied double-digit scoring totals for Atlanta. Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the way with 26 points and six assists. Onyeka Okongwu and Jonathan Kuminga added 16 points apiece.
