Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal could be on the brink of something very special in 2025-26, as they target honors in all four major competitions.
A first step on that journey could be made at Wembley on Sunday, as the Gunners take on Man City. Arsenal have been relentless in the EFL Cup to this point, easily overcoming Chelsea in the previous round.
Confidence within the camp will be high following an excellent 2-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League in midweek. However, Arsenal haven’t won the EFL Cup since 1993.

Man City saw their dreams of a quadruple end in midweek, as they were swatted aside by Real Madrid. However, Pep Guardiola’s side have an excellent record in the EFL Cup, having won the competition on eight previous occasions.
City secured their spot in the final with a commanding two-legged win over Newcastle in January.
Guardiola was able to prepare for the final in midweek after bringing off stars such as Erling Haaland and Rodri when the tie against Real Madrid was effectively out of reach.

A massive match is set for Wembley, as Arsenal bid to overcome a massive obstacle. However, we could foresee them coming up short against a Man City side that has avoided defeat in eight of their last ten against the Gunners.
