A massive Premier League fixture at the bottom of the standings is set for North London on Sunday, as relegation-threatened Tottenham and Nottingham Forest collide.
Both sides enjoyed midweek success in Europe, but both come into this round finding wins extremely hard to come by domestically. A victory for either side will be significant in the race for survival.

Tottenham’s Premier League status remains uncertain, as they sit 16th in the standings and are just a point clear of the drop zone. However, Spurs have at least shown fight under Igor Tudor in their last two fixtures.
Last weekend, Spurs scored late to rescue a point at Liverpool, while the team managed to record a first win under their interim boss in midweek after beating Atletico Madrid 3-2.
However, Tottenham remain the only team in the league that are yet to win in 2026, losing seven and playing out five draws. Only three teams in EPL history have endured longer winless starts to a calendar year, and all were relegated.

Vitor Pereira has struggled at the start of his stint with Nottingham Forest, but midweek joy could be the catalyst for a revival. The Tricky Trees overturned a first leg disadvantage to overcome Midtjylland in the Europa League, showing excellent character.
However, Forest are winless in their last seven Premier League fixtures, playing out four draws and losing three. Scoring goals has been their biggest challenge this term, with last season’s top scorer, Chris Wood, being unavailable.
They have failed to score in more games than any other team in the Premier League.

Tottenham’s recent performances will give them hope. However, their miserable performances at home are hard to overlook, especially as the atmosphere could quickly become toxic on Sunday.
Forest have won their last three against Spurs, while only Southampton have won more Premier League away matches against Tottenham than the Tricky Trees.
