Western Conference action is set for the MLS on March 21, as the in-form Vancouver Whitecaps host the San Jose Earthquakes.
The Caps have made a faultless start to the new season, winning all four fixtures. Meanwhile, the Earthquakes should be respected after winning three of their first four.

Jesper Sorensen's Vancouver will be looking to go one better than their runner-up finish in the MLS this year.
Despite winning each of their opening four MLS fixtures to start the season, the Caps will need to bounce back from a setback in the CONCACAF Champions Cup in midweek, losing both legs against the Seattle Sounders. But, their league form is red hot, scoring 14 and conceding just once in their opening four. Brian White has been a standout player in the opening month, scoring a team-high five goals.
Their dominant offensive record is hard to ignore, as they have scored 3.5 goals per game from an xG of 1.71.

The San Jose Earthquakes have enjoyed a reliable start to the season, but their perfect record was ended last weekend after losing 1-0 at home to the Seattle Sounders.
San Jose were unfortunate to lose that clash, as they dominated the ball, and recorded a staggering 19 shots.
However, they were guilty of being wasteful in the final third of the field. Converting chances has already been an issue for the team this season, netting just 1.5 per fixture despite averaging an xG of 1.62.
