Nashville Enjoying Reliable Start to 2026
B.J. Callaghan’s Nashville are enjoying a strong start to the new MLS season, having avoided defeat in the opening four rounds of fixtures.
Wins on three occasions see them sit second in the Eastern Conference, while no side in the conference have allowed fewer goals. Nashville kept a second straight clean sheet in all competitions last Saturday, as they recorded a 1-0 win over Columbus.
Preventing chances has been a key part of their game this term, restricting rivals to an xG of 0.98 and allowing a low of 0.5 goals per game.

Orlando Enduring Challenging Start to Campaign
It has been a challenging start to the 2026 season for Orlando City, which has already led to the departure of Oscar Pareja. Martin Perelman has been placed in interim control of the team, as City look to build on their first win of the campaign last Saturday.
It was an excellent counter-attacking display against Montreal, with Duncan McGuire and Martin Ojeda scoring the important efforts in the 2-1 success.
A similar tactic is likely on Saturday against a talented rival, but based on Nashville’s excellent defensive record, it’s likely that the visitors will set their sights on a draw as the best possible outcome.

Nashville vs. Orlando City Picks
Nashville’s excellent defensive record is a key trend to consider this weekend, and based on Orlando’s tactical outlook, it is hard to make a case for the away win. Therefore, the home team are favored to maintain their reliable start to the campaign.
