Ole Miss won four games against SEC competition in the regular season. They've now beaten three in three days. After a game-sealing block to upset Alabama, they have all the momentum in the world. They are the first 15-seed to make it to the semifinal, and they have never trailed this entire tournament. Can they keep this Cinderella run going?
#17 Arkansas is 24-8 overall, 13-5 in the SEC, and the 3rd seed in the tournament. They are projected to be a 4 seed come March.
Darius Acuff is the X factor for Arkansas. He is the SEC Player of the Year, and on a level nobody in this conference can match right now. In their first round matchup against Oklahoma, he dropped 37 points in a close game. No coach in the conference knows how to contain him. Will he be the one to send the Rebels home?
Ole Miss vs Arkansas is a tricky one. Tailing Cinderellas always feels iffy. We, however, think Ole Miss is legit. They were competitive the entire regular season, just poor at closing out games.
