We have the Wake Forest Demon Deacons taking on the Virginia Tech Hokies in the ACC Tournament opener in Charlotte. The game will be played at the Spectrum Center, a neutral arena in North Carolina, as part of the ACC Tournament opener.

Wake Forest had a 16–15 regular season record, finishing 7–11 in the ACC. They ended up just behind their rivals and are looking to make a run during the ACC Tournament. Their March Madness odds of making it are slim, so they’ll need to at least reach the semifinals or better to be seriously considered.

Juke Harris will need to explode on offense, as he is considered their star player and volume scorer. He is also leading the team in rebounds as a guard, but he needs to improve his three-point percentage to be considered truly elite.
Virginia Tech have slightly higher March Madness odds to make it and are still in the bubble conversation. They are coming off a loss to Virginia, which hurt their chances, so they need to beat Wake Forest to stay in the discussion.
Their season hasn’t been bad overall, as they finished 19–12, but they underperformed in the ACC at 8–10. Amani Hansberry is the team’s leading scorer at 14.3 PPG while also averaging 7.4 RPG. Their defensive anchor is Ben Hammond, who averages 2.0 SPG and provides great perimeter defense.
The Demon Deacons and Hokies will be playing in a neutral arena as part of the ACC tournament opener, with big pressure on both teams to win. Virginia Tech is considered favorites at -2.5. The over/under is 151.5, and the Moneyline has Wake Forest at +125 and the Hokies at -150.
