Brooklyn endured a midseason tailspin, dropping 10 straight games. Fortunately, the losing streak came to an end, courtesy of an unlikely 107-105 win against the Detroit Pistons.

The Nets scored just 46 points in the first half and trailed by 16. However, the road team clamped down defensively, outscoring the East's top team 61-43 in the second half, including a decisive 34-21 edge in the fourth quarter.
Michael Porter Jr. was one of four players who reached double figures for Brooklyn. He scored 30 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Ziaire Williams added 23 points and four rebounds off the bench, and shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc.
Following consecutive wins against Dallas and Indiana, the Grizzlies have dropped three straight. This stretch includes a 123-120 loss to the LA Clippers.
Memphis led by 18 points after the first quarter before the Clippers trimmed the deficit to one at intermission. The Grizzlies were ahead 118-117 with two minutes left in regulation before Kawhi Leonard and Jordan Miller knocked down a pair of free throws each to help LA complete the come-from-behind win.
Ty Jerome led a balanced attack in which seven players reached double figures. He finished with 23 points and seven assists. Taylor Hendricks spearheaded the second unit with 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field.
