Purdue is coming off a tough loss against their rivals Michigan State in a crucial game that had implications on their March Madness odds. They are 22–6 overall and 12–5 in the Big Ten. Purdue should bounce back here, as they are a top-10 team with a highly efficient offense and great individual talent.

Purdue will be leaning on Braden Smith and his playmaking ability, as he’s averaging 14.8 PPG and 8.7 APG. Their other essential pieces are Trey Kaufman-Renn, Fletcher Loyer, and Daniel Jacobsen.
The Buckeyes still have a chance to get into the tourney and improve their March Madness odds, but time is running out. They are 17–11 overall and 9–8 in conference play. Ohio State hasn’t been able to beat many ranked teams this season, so Purdue will be a tough challenge.
Ohio State started the season 6–0 and pretty much went downhill after that. However, beating a top-10 team like Purdue would give the Buckeyes exactly the kind of résumé boost they need to improve their March Madness predictions.
Despite being on the road, Purdue comes into this game as the favorite with a -6.5 spread. The over/under is 151.5, which is considered a high amount.
