The Kraken have been in reliable form throughout the season, as they bid to break into the playoff spots. However, a response will be required after losing their last two.
Meanwhile, the misery has continued for the Canucks, as they sit bottom of the Pacific Division, losing each of their last four.
It has been an incredibly frustrating season for the Vancouver Canucks, with Adam Foote’s team sitting at the bottom of the Pacific Division. The Canucks have gone 18-33-7 this term, falling to a miserable 6-17-5 record at Rogers Arena.
No team in the division have accumulated worse offensive or defensive stats in 2025-26 than the Canucks, with the franchise having allowed 213 goals. They come into this round after losing four straight games, while they have lost six of their last ten in regulation.
The Canucks showed more fight in their latest outing, but they were edged out in a 3-2 loss in overtime by the Winnipeg Jets.
It wasn’t the return to NHL action that the Seattle Kraken would have been hoping for, as they were easily swatted aside by the St. Louis Blues on Thursday evening.
The Kraken allowed two goals in each of the second and third periods, meaning that they have now suffered losses in their last two.
However, it is worth noting that they have won six of their last ten, and remain within striking distance of the top three in the Pacific Division. Seattle’s offense has been reliable this term, with Jordan Eberle leading the way with 20 goals.

Being back in front of their own fans should give the Kraken the confidence required to get their form back on track. Seattle boast an excellent home record against Vancouver, winning 60% of the previous encounters.
