Vandy's success is due to its analytical approach. They are top 20 in both offensive and defensive rating. They are one of the nation's best in taking care of the ball and put up nearly 90 points a night. When Vanderbilt's offense is clicking, they are a hard out.
Kentucky is 18-10 overall and 9-6 in SEC play. The Wildcats entered the Preseason AP poll at 9 and are currently unranked. They still have the resume to make the tournament at large, but the season has been disappointing to say the least.
Injuries have killed Kentucky. Stars like Jayden Quaitance and Jaland Lowe have missed considerable time. Still, they have quality players like Otega Oweh, who had 20 the last time these sides clashed. Can he carry Kentucky to a win?
