  • The Cavaliers are 50-10 and have the best record in the league.
  • Chicago is 24-37 and has the worst record in the Central Division.
  • These teams last played on Nov. 15, 2024, with the Cavaliers claiming a 144-126 victory.

One of the games on Tuesday’s NBA slate features the Chicago Bulls hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers. Can Chicago slow down the league’s top team in our Bulls vs Cavaliers pick?

Bulls Seeking First Win Against Cleveland This Season

Following a six-game losing skid, the Bulls have split their last four games, including a 127-112 defeat at the hands of the Indiana Pacers on Sunday night.

Coby White scored a team-high 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds. He shot 10-for-18 overall and 4-for-9 from 3-point range.

Josh Giddey had a solid game, with 18 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Rookie Matas Buzelis also scored 18 points and pulled down six rebounds.

Despite its mediocre record, Chicago kept it close, trailing by just three points entering the fourth quarter.

However, Indiana won the final frame by a 32-20 margin, improving its record to 18-7 over its last 25 games.

Cavaliers Aiming For 11th Straight Victory

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are on fire. They enter this divisional tilt riding the wave of a 10-game winning streak, including a narrow 133-129 overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday night.

All five starters reached double figures, headlined by a 32-point, seven rebound effort from De’Andre Hunter.

Evan Mobley added 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Ty Jerome led the bench unit with 25 points, five boards, and six dimes.

Portland gave Cleveland all it could handle, taking a 10-point lead into the fourth quarter. However, the Cavaliers came to life, outscoring the Blazers 40-30 in the final frame before ultimately winning the game in overtime.

This marks Cleveland’s third double-digit win streak this season and it is the first squad to reach 50 victories.

Bulls vs Cavaliers Pick: Cleveland Stays Hot Against Chicago

Chicago is just 2-8 in its last 10 games. Unfortunately, they is nothing to be overly excited about this group at either end of the floor. It has the fifth-worst defensive rating and is ranked 19th in offensive rating.

On the other side of this matchup, the Cavaliers are clicking on all cylinders. In addition to winning its last 10 contests, Cleveland is a top-10 team from a defensive standpoint and boasts the league’s top offense.

The Cavs have won five of the previous six games between these franchises, and they will dominate its division rival when these teams clash at the United Center on Tuesday night.
