Toronto has dropped five straight following a narrow two-point win over the Liberty. The team's latest mishap was a lopsided 104-72 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday night.

The Tempo were ahead by a point after the opening quarter, but the momentum quickly shifted. Minnesota used a devastating 63-36 burst over the second and third quarters to secure their 10th straight win.
Laura Juskaite scored 19 points, collected five boards, and handed out three assists. Marina Mabrey added 16 points and four assists. Despite the strong performances from the duo, the Tempo were unable to keep pace with a Lynx offense that shot 45 percent from deep.
On the other side, the Valkyries have dropped two straight following a nine-game win streak. Their latest misstep was a 91-89 loss to the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday.
Golden State led by six after three quarters. Unfortunately for the Valkyries, Phoenix responded with a 31-23 edge in the final frame, handing the road team its second straight loss.
The Valkyries' offense featured six double-digit scorers. Unfortunately, the balanced scoring effort wasn't enough to prevent an inferior opponent from prevailing down the stretch.
