The Sun have dropped two of three following a two-game win streak. This includes an 86-80 loss to the Minnesota Lynx on Wednesday.

Connecticut led by five points after the third quarter. But Minnesota proved to be too much in crunch time, outscoring the Sun 26-15 in the final frame.
Leila Lacan scored a team‑high 15 points, adding six rebounds and six assists in a well‑rounded effort. Unfortunately for Connecticut, its ineffective shooting — just 40 percent overall and 26 percent from three‑point range — proved to be the team’s undoing
Following back-to-back losses to the Lynx and Aces, Golden State has bounced back with six straight wins. The most recent outing was an 83-75 victory against the Toronto Tempo.
The Valkyries trailed by two points through three quarters. However, the road team answered the bell in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Tempo 26-16 to close out the win.
Golden State got strong production from its bench unit. Janelle Salaun led the offense with 26 points and six rebounds, going 7-for-10 from the field. Kaitlyn Chen added 16 points, connecting on eight of her 12 shot attempts, providing the Valkyries with a secondary scoring option.
