The Mystics trailed by eight points after the third quarter and pulled within four late in the final frame. Minnesota responded with back-to-back 3s from Kayla McBride to push the lead back to 10 points, allowing the road team to close out the win.

All five starters reached double figures for Washington. Kiki Iriafen led the way with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Shakira Austin produced a solid performance with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

On the other side, the Fire have won four of their last six. Unfortunately, an 82-79 loss to the Toronto Tempo halted a two-game win streak.

Portland trailed by 13 points in the opening quarter, and later found itself down 75–63 in the fourth.. The Fire made one final push, scoring 16 of the next 23 points, but the rally wasn’t enough to prevent Toronto from prevailing down the stretch.

Bridget Carleton was one of four double-digit scorers. She paced the offense with 18 points and made five of the team’s 11 three-point baskets. Megan DiLeo added 14 points. Despite multiple players reaching double figures, Portland’s offensive efforts were undercut by a 39 percent shooting performance, a key factor in the team’s inability to fully erase Toronto’s lead.
