After suffering a five-point loss to the Mystics, Minnesota has won two of its last three games. Unfortunately, they were upended 99-86 by the New York Liberty in their last outing.

Minnesota trailed by 13 through three quarters. And the Liberty's 7-3 surge early in the fourth extended the lead to 17 points. The Lynx got no closer than 12 the rest of the way.
Kayla McBride scored a team-high 18 points and hit four of her nine 3-point attempts. Courtney Williams finished with 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Following a 2-8 start, the Sun have dropped eight of their last 10 games. This painful stretch includes an 86-83 loss to the Dallas Wings.
Despite its 4–16 record, Connecticut controlled much of the night, leading by seven points after three quarters before Dallas inched ahead by one late in the final frame. The Sun had a chance to reclaim the lead, but Leila Lacan missed a layup in the closing seconds. Jessica Shepard secured the defensive rebound and knocked down two free throws, providing the game’s final margin and sealing the Wings’ win.
The Sun got solid contributions from multiple players. Lacan poured in 18 points and handed out five assists. Charlisse Leger-Walker added 14 points on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor.
