The Liberty controlled the game, leading by 13 points after the third quarter. And thanks to a 7-3 burst early in the fourth, the home team cruised to a 13-point win.
All five starters reached double figures for New York. Breanna Stewart spearheaded the offense with 36 points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots. Sabrina Ionecu finished with 17 points, six assists, two steals, and two blocks.
Dallas hopes to extend its win streak to three games
The Wings have won two straight following a two-game skid. Their recent outing was an 89-76 victory over the Toronto Tempo on Sunday.
Dallas built an early cushion, taking an 11‑point lead after the first quarter before the Tempo rallied to trim the deficit to five at halftime. All the same, the Wings answered out of the break, producing a 24–17 third‑quarter edge and maintaining control the rest of the way without being seriously threatened down the stretch.
Paige Bueckers was one of five players in double figures, finishing with 22 points and seven assists on 9-for-16 shooting. Azzi Fudd added 17 points and hit five 3-pointers. In addition to its balanced scoring effort, Dallas' defense held the Tempo to 39 percent shooting and 34 percent from downtown.
