The Dream have dropped five straight following a four-game win streak. This stretch includes an 88-83 loss to the Golden State Valkyries.

Angel Reese scored five straight points to give Atlanta a 77-74 lead with 3:16 left to play. But the Valkyries responded with an 8-0 run and stayed in front down the stretch.
Allisha Gray put up 22 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Rhyne Howard added 19 points, five boards, and three dimes. Although the Dream had four double-digit scorers, the team struggled offensively, shooting 39 percent overall and 31 percent from distance.
After beating Atlanta by 15 points when these teams met in late June, the Storm have dropped two of their last three games. Fortunately, an 82-64 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks ended a two-game slide.
Seattle led 48-37 at halftime and extended its advantage to 23 points, thanks to a 20-8 scoring edge in the third quarter. Flau'jae Johnson powered the offense with 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Natisha Hiedeman scored 15 points, collected six rebounds, and handed out four assists.

The Dream have won three of their last five home games. Meanwhile, Seattle has not been as successful on the road, winning just one of its previous five away from home.
