Las Vegas has won four of its last five games. This includes an 88-80 victory over the Portland Fire on Thursday night.

The Aces controlled the game, leading 69-52 through three quarters, and never looked back. Although Portland put up 28 points in the fourth quarter, its highest-scoring output in any quarter, it wasn't enough to prevent the defending champs from securing their 16th victory of the season.
A'ja Wilson, who missed the last three games with an ankle injury, poured in 32 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, marking her fourth 30-10 game of the 2026 campaign. Jackie Young added 19 points and handed out 11 assists, helping Las Vegas shoot 51 percent overall and 40 percent from deep in one of its most efficient performances of the season.
The Mercury have dropped two straight following a season-high three-game win streak. Their latest setback was a narrow 92-89 loss to the Indiana Fever on Thursday.
The Mercury held a 10-point advantage in the fourth quarter. But thanks to poor late-game execution, Indiana escaped with a three-point win.
Kahleah Copper tied for team-high scoring honors with 22 points and five rebounds. Alyssa Thomas also put up 22 points, collected six rebounds, and handed out seven assists to round out a strong all-around performance.
